OLM ist kein gewöhnliches Hotel. Es ist ein organischer, kreisförmiger Bau, der aus der Landschaft zu wachsen scheint. Entworfen von AGA Andreas Gruber Architekten, orientiert sich die Form am traditionellen Mühlstein – Sinnbild des ewigen Kreislaufs. Vom Parkplatz aus sieht man nur das obere Geschoss, denn der Großteil des Gebäudes verschwindet sanft im Hang. Erst im Inneren erkennt man, wie durchdacht alles ist: Licht, Wasser, Holz, Stein – jedes Element im Einklang.

Design that speaks the language of the Alps

The interiors are minimalist yet warm. Glass, wood and mineral surfaces create an atmosphere that feels calming and grounded. Every shade, texture and line seems deliberately chosen. Nothing feels forced. Everything follows a quiet logic that simply feels harmonious.

And then there is the spa: a pool overlooking the mountains, a sauna extending far out into the open air, and the scent of wood that immediately surrounds you. Even when the hotel is fully booked, the saunas and pool remain peaceful, that rare kind of silence that cannot really be designed, but emerges when everything feels right.

Sustainability that is truly lived

OLM Nature Escape is South Tyrol’s first energy-autonomous eco aparthotel with a positive energy balance. Around 1,500 solar panels on the roof, 126 geothermal probes and three heat pumps supply the property almost entirely with green energy. The pool water is naturally heated, while lighting and furnishings are designed to conserve resources, right down to the conscious decision to avoid single-use products and unnecessary daily towel changes.

In the evening, sitting on the balcony and watching the sheep graze below the hotel, you realise that luxury can be quiet too.

Cuisine with soul

At the heart of the hotel is the PRENN° Plaza. Part meeting place, part restaurant, bar and stage. In the morning, breakfast features regional organic produce, fresh bread from the Profanter natural bakery and Kuntrawant Espresso prepared on the Modbar. In the evening, the space transforms into a stage for chef Berni Aichner’s creative menu, prepared right in front of the guests. It is not a conventional restaurant experience, but something closer to a carefully composed performance of aromas, light and flavour.

Those who prefer to keep to themselves can cook in their own Eco ApartSuite and spend the evening on the balcony — with a glass of wine and views of mountains that seem to touch the sky.

Suites that breathe

The Eco ApartSuites are spacious, peaceful and elegantly understated. Some feature a private sauna, making them ideal for anyone looking for extra privacy and tranquillity. A large hanging swing sits on the balcony, while sheep graze below, a small but touching reminder of the hotel’s connection to nature.
