Thomashof is just an hour north of Berlin, yet it feels like a little world of its own. The six holiday apartments are thoughtfully designed, combining historic charm with contemporary touches. Clay plaster, exposed timber framing, natural materials and carefully selected vintage pieces create interiors that feel warm, authentic and wonderfully relaxed.

Farm Life That Feels Real

Spread across two hectares, Thomashof is a place that feels both peaceful and full of life. Chickens, sheep, rabbits, cats and dogs roam the grounds, while the courtyard invites you to sit back and enjoy the slower pace of country life.

Between the permaculture garden, traditional orchard and small fire pits, it's easy to find yourself enjoying moments you never planned. For children, the farm is one big adventure. For adults, it's somewhere relaxation seems to happen naturally. There's even a small swimming spot right in the village.

Yoga, Gardens & Good Food: The Heart of Thomashof

Yoga retreats are an important part of life at Thomashof. Sessions take place in a light-filled studio beneath the roof, an 80 m² loft with exposed wooden beams and a wonderfully calming atmosphere. In summer, yoga moves outdoors onto the deck, surrounded by fresh air and the soft light of the garden.

Food is equally important here. Almost all ingredients come from the farm's own permaculture garden or nearby organic farms, bringing a genuine farm-to-table approach to the experience.

The small farm shop offers homemade jams, herbal teas, walnut oil, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and MutzerGold apple cider, a dry, locally produced blend made from heritage apple varieties grown on the farm.

Behind the barn, a beautiful traditional orchard is home to almost 40 different fruit varieties. A little paradise for anyone who appreciates nature, seasonal food and the simple pleasures of country living.

A Place You'll Want to Stay a Little Longer

The farm café brings together exposed brick, a crackling fireplace and walnut tables, creating the kind of space where you immediately want to sit down, order something good and stay a while.

Beyond the farm, the surrounding Ruppiner Land region offers quiet forests, open fields and clear lakes, perfect for cycling, paddling, swimming or day trips to Zehdenick and Rheinsberg. Bicycles are available directly at the property.

Since 2008, Heike and Jörg Thomas have been lovingly restoring and developing Thomashof, doing much of the work themselves. The result is a place that doesn't try to be anything other than what it is, and that's precisely what makes it special.
